Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church with Missions involvement central in our focus. A part of all general offerings that are given to Pleasant Grove goes to support Mission ministries.

Our church is truly involved in worldwide, statewide and community mission efforts. We support the Georgia Baptist Convention, North American Mission Board and International Mission Board (see links below) in addition to the following:

Local Ministries:

Nursing Home and Home Bound visitation
Gilmer County Apple Festival in October
Hope for the Hungry - 2nd Wednesday of every month

The Missions Ministry at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church has a place for everyone in learning about and sharing the hope of Jesus with those who don't know Him through witness, ministry, caring, prayer, giving, growing, and teaching.

Each month the missions emphasis is promoted and presented at various age group meetings.

The following is a list of various groups at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and their meeting times.

Sundays @ 6:30
- Mission Friends (boys & girls-ages 4 & 5)
- Royal Ambassadors (ages 6-10)
- Girls in Action (ages 6-10)
Wednesdays @ 6:30
- Youth on MISSIONS
Last Tuesday of every month:
- Women on Mission
