Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

Rubin and his wife Connie come to us from Canton, Georgia. Both grew up in Roswell, Georgia. Rubin has pastored for 35 years in the North Georgia area, mostly in Cherokee County.

He is a graduate of Southern Polytechnical Institute, Toccoa Falls College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to pastoral duties Rubin has been a teacher for 20 years in the Adult Education Department of both the Georgia Baptist Convention and in the seminary extension program for the Southern Baptist Convention.

Rubin has also been involved in mission work in England, Africa, Haitai, Jamaica, India, South Korea, Central America and here in the U.S.

He and Connie are building a new home here in Ellijay. They are looking forward to working in their new association and enjoying the beautiful North Georgia mountains with their two children, spouses and two granddaughters.
